[[Got my wedding album :) :)]]

Been really busy this wk. I had been going for the 1st aid course everyday after work since last Mon. Boss sent me & my the other 3 colleagues for it. This was the 2nd time i went for the course. The 1st time was 3 yrs back. We need to have the 1st aid cert as a childcare teacher & mine had recently expired.

The course would end this Mon, finally! Juz had the theory test yesterday. Mon would b the practical test, testing us on bandages & CPR.

Luckily had companions to go wif me or else will b so lonely hehe... The course was from 5.30pm to 9.30pm but normally we could go home much earlier than the stated time. Really tired at the end of the day. Imagine working early, off work at 5pm, had to rush to class after work. I m most happy when the teacher said we could go home at the end of each lesson haha...

Really thankful to darling for coming to wait for me after class. He was worried tat i go "take" the car by myself late at nite in the carpark. He oso bought dinner for me as he knew tat i had no time for dinner. He was even willing to let me practise my bandage on him, i really need the practice for Mon's test. Love u darling for being such a caring husband!

Haha... enough abt my 1st aid course. Wanna tok abt my happy day 2day. Well... we collected our wedding album. Finally the long awaited album. Waited for abt 4 mths to collect. We went to the wedding studio at 1 plus.

When we saw our wedding album, we were like "wow wow wow". It was really beautiful, really worth the price of $4600. Our happiest & loving moments were all captured in the photos. Our parents & relatives who saw our album were all praising it, would show it to our colleagues next wk.

Many of those who saw the album said i really dun look like my age. Instead i looked like a small gal taking wedding pics. They were oso all praise for darling's dimples which could b clearly seen in the wedding album.

My cousin Germaine even asked darling wat's our actual age. She said we looked like 2 small kids taking wedding pics, so young! Haha... we love kids so we naturally look & behave like kids, tat's y we r happy everyday. Tat's Joanna's theory lol...

Really could not describe how happy i m now. Our wedding album will b something tat we will treasure 2gether. The memory will last us a lifetime. When we r old, we can sit down & flip thru the album. We can even show to our children & even our grandchildren in future. Haha... i m tinking a bit too far away but nvm, tat's me.

I feel tat all couples getting married shd get a wedding album done no matter how simple the wedding is going to b. The album is a MUST! Itz once in a lifetime thing & tat moment of happiness shd b kept 4ever then u will not regret when u grow old.

[[Hair bands!]]

Helping out at my parents' bkshop yesterday during the primary one orientation. Tired at the end of the day but it was fun coz darling was wif me.

Went shopping at Causeway Pt 2day. Darling bought 4 hair bands for me. They were in diff colours! I m simply crazy over hair bands now. Will wear them wherever i go. He oso bought a pair of earrings for me.

[[Lucky number 15]]

I m on leave 2day:) :) Went to darling's office wif him in the morning. He went back to do some work & we left his office at abt 11am.

We had an appt wif HDB to choose our unit 2day. Last nite darling & i have already discussed abt which unit we wan & he wrote it down. The 1st choice we wan is the 16th storey but itz already taken when we went to select so we took the 15th storey which was our next choice. So excited abt the new hse!

Haha.. tink we were really fated wif the number 15. Our unit is on the 15th floor. The date we submit our application is 15th Sep. The date 2day is 15th Nov. Our appt time is at 12.15pm. All has "15" in it. Hope this will b our lucky hse.

Met up wif our wedding photographer last nite at 8pm to discuss some details abt the actual day. It was the 1st time we saw him in real person. He was only 26 yrs old but the pics he showed us which he took at other weddings were brilliant!

Hopefully our photos will b just as nice. When he wrote our ic numbers down on the contract, he was surprised to noe tat i m actually a yr older than darling. He commented tat i dun look like my age, i looked younger. Haha... i m flattered.

Went to find my wedding shoes 2day but could nt find any tat i like. I wan to find a white unique one to match my dress. Maybe would go this wkend to search for it.

[[busy day!]]

Darling & i bought the diamond stickers & we decorated my laptop 2gether. Had fun doing it! A sense of achievement once it is done. So proud of it lol... So happy tat my once plain black laptop can become a "princess-like" black & pink laptop :) :) :) :) :)

Darling & i went out 2day. Had KFC for lunch, wan to try the new "fish & chips". It was ok but the portion was a bit too small, nt worth the price.

After tat shopped ard for our bedsheet set. Wan to buy new bedsheet for our new bed tat is coming in Dec. Finally found a set we liked & we bought it. It was in 2 tones of blue. Oso bought a pair of slippers.

Haha... i would b very excited whenever i came across the toys department. I would b looking at the toys like a small little gal. I came across this "Bingo" game. "Bingo" was one of my fav games when i was young. I used to play it wif my neighbours. I asked darling: "Can i buy? I can play it wif u." He gave me a cheeky look & i tot he would say no. But he said ok & he bought it for me. I played "bingo" wif darling the moment we got home & it was fun haha...

My toy haha...

We were super busy 2day. Had an appt at 4.30pm at Orchid Country Club. Went there to meet up wif the sales coordinator to further discuss abt our wedding. So much things to prepare but itz a happy once-in-a-lifetime thing.

Our 2nd appt is at 9.30pm to meet up wif my makeup artist. The meetup was to confirm the date, time & location of our wedding. We oso discussed abt the preference of my image on the wedding day. She's an impt person on my big day coz wif her magic hands, she can make me look like a princess on tat day hehe...

Pics taken b4 we set off

Darling's colleague Khalsom invited him to her hse for a Hari Raya lunch last Sunday & he brought me along. Choong & wife, Mak, Ryan, Kailun, their boss & family were oso invited.

We had a home cooked lunch. Oso ate the home baked cookies. Wow... the cookies were really fantastic. The Malays can really bake very nice cookies. Chatted over lunch, watch a little SCV after lunch & we left at abt 2 plus.

Darling & i headed to "The Furniture Warehouse" at Upper Thomson Rd to view the beds after tat. We wan to get a queen size bed. As we would b having our wedding in Dec, we wan to change the single bed in my rm to a queen size one.

We looked ard & found the bed we wan. Darling paid for it & it would b delivered on 1st Dec. My mum had previously looked thru the Lunar Calendar & tat day was chosen coz itz a gd day for positioning of bed lol...

Well... so many many things to prepare for our wedding. But feeling real excited abt the big day! Counting down to the day! :)

Itz a lucky lucky day for darling & i :) :)

1st we received a letter frm HDB stating tat our application for a flat in Sembawang was successful. We r invited to go down to select a unit. The flat was a build-to-order kind, would b ready in a few yrs time.

Finally got it! We have previously sent out a few applications for other projects but none was successful. Sembawang was my dream place for a new home, so happy now :) :) :) :)

We cannot get the chalet tat we wan for our Dec wedding, super peak period! So we decided to go down to Orchid Country Club to check out their package 2day. The place was wat we wan after viewing, cosy & nice!

They have a very nice wedding package tat catered to our requirements so we quickly reserved a place there. Would confirm the booking in a wk's time. Initially tot tat the place would not b available coz we believed many couples would get married in Dec. But itz still available! We were really lucky coz itz a super last min decision.

2 gd news in 1 day! Lots of things to plan & prepare now. So excited abt my dec wedding!

[[Yesterday... 2day]]

No car for 2 days. It was left in the wkshop yesterday & 2day. Need to change a few parts of the car. Really felt like a handicap without my car. Had to take a bus, mrt & then walk to my workplace. Woke up half an hr earlier than my usual time. Miz my car so much! Tink i m too used to driving to work. But luckily had darling to accompany me on the way coz he was going to work too. Finally could collect the car 2day, happy!

Off work at 5pm yesterday so i went to Causeway Pt to shop ard while waiting for darling to off work, then can go home 2gether. I secretly bought a polo tee for him & stuffed it in my bag. Wan to buy a polo tee for him coz he was always the one who bought clothes for me so now shd b my turn to buy clothes for him. He seldom buys things for himself, itz always for me.

Darling did not know i bought something for him. When we reached home & while he was showering, i put the gift under his laptop bag. He did not realise tat there was something under the bag until after dinner. He was abt to take his laptop out from the bag when he saw the gift. Ta... da... he was surprised when he saw the gift. He loved it & i got hugs & kisses from him :)

Darling tried on his new polo tee. The smile on his face showed tat he liked it. I luv it when he wears stripes ;)
