[[Baby!]]

I went to c my gynae at Thomson Medical Centre yesterday. Darling was wif me. Yes... the gd news was revealed. I m pregnant, having a little life inside me now.

It all started wif me missing my menses. I suspected something was amiss so went to the clinic. Doc tested using the pregnancy kit but it was negative. Doc said if my menses did not come after a few more days, i should go back again to check.

A few days later, my menses still did not come. I bought a home pregnancy kit to test. It was postive this time. Darling & i were delighted but at the same time oso afraid if the test was accurate. The next day when i was at work, i felt nauseated the whole morning. After work, i went back to the clinic. The doc tested 4 me & the result was still positive.

Darling & i were so happy coz we r going to b daddy & mummy! Really could not believe this was true. I wan Thomson Medical Centre so the doc referred me to the gynae there.

When i went 4 my appt yesterday, the nurse took my height, weight & blood pressure 1st. When i went in to c Dr. Phyllis, i was nervous though darling accompanied me in. She asked me some personal details & then explained the reason y the 1st time i tested it was negative but after tat turned out to b positive.

After tat she asked me to lie down 4 a scan. Haha.. it seemed tat i was holding my urine so it somehow blocked the scan. I went to the toilet & after tat did the scan again. This time could c something. Dr. Phyllis pointed to me. It was a black oval. She said i m still at the early stage of my pregnancy so could only c the pregnancy sag. Darling oso saw the little oval hehe... It was a miracle. She used the cursor, clicked at the dimension of the oval & estimated tat i was 5 wks pregnant.

My next appt is 2 wks later. She will then determine my estimated delivery date. I really could not wait 4 the scan again, wanna c if my baby had grown. The 1st trimester is the most impt period. Darling & i really pray tat our baby will b strong, healthy & happy inside my tummy :)

After the checkup, we went to Novena Sq & United Sq to shop. Our car was in the workshop so had to wait to collect it at nite. We walked ard & we saw a crowd in Novena Sq. No wonder so many pple, Jackie Chan was there. He was the spokesman 4 the newly opened California Fitness Centre & he came 4 the opening ceremony. Managed to take a few pics of him.

Oso went to United Sq coz there were many shops selling baby & maternity stuffs. Went to a shop named "Moms R' Us". It had many nice maternity wear. I bought 2 tops, 3 bottoms & a dress. Need to get more elastic band bottoms. Darling paid abt $207 & the lady gave me a free necklace & a baby magazine. Got a VIP card too coz we spent over $200. Darling said could go back there again in future to get the diaper bag coz he said the diaper bags r nice. Oso bought a classial music CD, could let my baby listen hehe...

Yesterday was really a superstar day. 1st we saw Jackie Chan. After tat we saw Chen Tai Ming & his son as well as Zheng Ge Ping, Hong Hui Fang & their children. Hehe...

Went to AMK Hub this afternoon. Bought a cute little yellow romper for baby. Oso bought Anmum (Chocolate milk powder 4 pregnant women), apple juice, strawberry jam & peach tea. Tends to get hungry & tired easily nowadays. Darling had been taking very gd care of me, tks 4 ur love ;)

[[Updates]]

This is my supper last Fri. Mine was the soya chicken rice burger while darling ate the chicken roll. This kind of microwavable food was so convenient for those who had cravings in the middle of the nite haha...

I went to darling's office on Sat. Did my lesson plans there. Lunch & shopping at Causeway Point. Dinner was at my grandma's hse.

Darling & i went to NTUC Xtra yesterday & bought some ingredients. We did a home cooked dinner 2gether. We had veggie, soup & steamed fish wif rice. Darling steamed the fish especially for me. The fish he prepared was delicious.

2day is a happy day for darling & i. Received a gd piece of news. Will reveal it here when the time is ripe :)

[[Fri.. Sat.. Sun]]

13th Apr 2007 Fri:
Supper time! Darling ordered Mac delivery for me coz i have a sudden craving for chicken nuggets, apple pie & hot fudge sundae. I m scared of becoming fat but still wanna eat. Haha... temptation!

14th Apr 2007 Sat:
Went Mac for breakfast b4 sending our car to the workshop. The car siao siao. Sometimes can start the engine without problem but sometimes hard to start. Itz time to c the doctor liao. Went to shop ard in AMK coz the car needed some time wif his doctor haha...

I like to go to AMK Hub coz itz a new place to shop ard. There r a few shops selling baby stuffs & i always like to go in there to have a look at all the cutie stuffs hehe... Esp "Fox Baby". The tiny clothes & shoes r so nice!

AMK oso opened a new outlet of "This Fashion". It is having an opening sales of 50% to 70%. Bought a skirt for $8 & a tube dress for $12. Collected our car ard 5pm & at nite was back to AMK again for my fav jap food.

15th Apr 2007 Sun:
Went to Chong Pang to buy breakfast coz oso need to get my handicraft things from there. Nasi lemak for me, prata for darling & soya bean for us.

I got a job offer so went to take a look at the new place plus discussion wif the person-in-charge. Still need some time to consider coz i feel tat my current working environment is better but the terms the new place offers r oso nt bad. Gd & bad pts... hard to decide.

[[Jealousy]]

I had a miserable & upset wkend. A wkend filled wif arguments & tears. It was all due to a stupid incident tat spoilt my wkend mood. It happened on Sat afternoon.

After darling & i off work, he wanted to go cut his hair. We went to his usual hair salon. It was packed wif pple & the auntie said had to wait abt 45 min. We did not wan to wait tat long so decided to go to another salon.

When we reached another salon, there was only 1 customer so we went in. Darling told the auntie he wanted a hair wash plus cut.

The salon had a specified person to wash customers' hair. She's a gal in her twenties & dressed in a v-neck spaghetti top & mini skirt. Maybe she was dressed like tat to attract customers, who knows? Anyway, itz none of my business the way she dressed. But wat she has done made me wonder wat's the scope of her job.

Darling sat down & she started to scrub his hair. She was oso massaging his scalp & neck. I was juz sitting beside him reading a magazine. I was fine wif tat coz many hair salon did massage customers' scalp & neck other than juz washing the hair.

I was browsing thru my magazine & when i turned after a while, i saw the gal happily massaging darling's back. After tat she massaged his shoulders & arms.

She was practically touching his back, shoulders & arms. Instantly my face changed. Wat the hell was she doing? She was supposed to b juz washing the hair, the most i could accept was massaging of the scalp & neck. Not to the extent of massaging other parts. She's not a masseuse ok. She was massaging & washing darling's hair for 25 min!

I was really pissed off. I did not confront her or else it would only embarrass everyone. I kept quiet & juz let myself be upset. After the haircut, we left. I asked him later in the car y he allowed tat gal to massage, he could juz say he did not wan it. He told me he thought itz part of the service so did not say anything. He did not realise tat it could made me so upset.

We ended up arguing & i was tearing whenever i thought of the gal massaging him. My reaction was super big. He tried to talk to me but i was so angry tat i ignored him for the whole of Sat's afternoon till Sun's nite.

We only patched up last nite & went for dinner 2gether.He told me he won't go back to tat hair salon anymore, he's scared i would b jealous again. I know maybe to some pple, itz juz a small matter but to me itz not.

Darling... if u r reading my blog... i wanna tell u:
I admit tat i can get very jealous easily. But i believe this is the normal reaction for someone who is so much in love. I care for u & love u very much, tat's y i will b jealous. I dun like other gals to have any physical contact wif u & i m sure u will feel the same if u r in my shoes.

Itz not tat i dun have trust in u. I guess itz juz me not having enough confidence in myself. I m so afraid tat 1 day, u will juz fall in love wif another gal. I cannot imagine myself without u, how will my life be?

Sometimes when we quarrel badly, i will say "let's not b 2gether anymore". But believe me i only say those words out of anger, itz not for real. Dun let other pple strain our realtionship anymore ok? I dun like to quarrel wif u, i like u to sayang me. Our love surely can withstand obstacles rite?

I believe tat our love is a special kind of love. Itz a bond tat tied us 2gether for the rest of our lives.

[[Happy birthday ah pa!]]

Happy birthday to my dad! Treated him to dinner at AMK juz now. Believed he had a filling & happy dinner. Off work at 5pm yesterday. Went to Causeway Point to shop for my dad's birthday gift. Was thinking hard wat to get for him. Guy's things r always so hard to buy coz limited choices. Finally decided to buy a wallet for him. Guess itz abt time he changed a new wallet hehe...

I was by myself shopping at Causeway Point yesterday coz darling hasn't off work yet. Seldom had the chance of shopping without him so decided to give him a surprise by buying something for him. And i got a sweet sweet kiss from him :))

Bought a Kappa polo tee for baby. He can wear it to work.

[[LOVE love LoVe <3]]

Had a fun & romantic wkend wif my baby darling. We had a nite's stay at the resort hotel at Orchid Country Club. Checked in yesterday at 2pm & checked out 2day at 12pm.

Simply love the beautiful & cosy room!

My 3rd aunt gave a treat at a restaurant in Orchid Country Club last nite to celebrate her promotion as well as her grandson's birthday. We were oso staying at the hotel for the nite, wat a coincidence. After the dinner, we could juz go up to our room hehe...

After we checked out, we went to watch "Mr Bean's holiday" in the cinema. Had been a long time since i went to watch a movie. Dun really like to watch movie but this show really attracted me to watch it. I wanna Mr Bean to make me laugh like mad ... and... he really did. The show was so funny. Anyone who wanna de-stress should watch it. I would give it a rating of 9/10.

Synopsis:
Mr Bean is heading to the South of France for a simple holiday in the sun. His voyage from London to the Riviera soon transcends into one of mischief and mayhem as he inadvertently creates havoc wherever he goes culminating in an unscheduled and riotous screening of his own video diary at the Cannes Film Festival.
