[[Falling sick]]

Did not go to work yesterday & 2day coz on MC for 2 days. Having a fever, flu & cough since Sat. Went to the family clinic on Sat. Took the medicine but the fever, flu & cough still didn't subside. On Sunday nite, darling brought me down to Thomson Medical Centre. Doctor said itz virus infection. He gave me 4 kinds of medicine & the medical bill was $65!

After eating the medicine, fever finally subsided. Still having a slight flu & cough. The medicine made me so drowsy tat i could only sleep the whole day. Luckily the doctor gave me 2 days MC to rest or else it will b so terrible going to work in a drowsy state.

My immune system these few weeks seem to b down, any virus could juz attack me. Darling said probably is his virus. He was oso on MC last Thur & Fri due to fever & flu. After he recovered, itz my turn.

I really cannot afford to fall sick now. Although the doctor said the medication is safe for pregnancy, i m still afraid it would harm the baby. However at the end of the day, i still had to take the medication or else i will not recover. I could only pray tat the medication would not have any harmful effect on my baby. So sorry baby to make u suffer... coz i knew watever medicine tat mummy drank... u will oso drink it. I muz take gd care of my health in order not to fall sick again.

Darling is at work now, i miz him so much. Got to go take a rest now, drowsy liao.

[[7 wks!]]

Had not been blogging for a long long time. Sorry for the lack of updates! Was feeling lazy as well as tired to blog. For the past few wks, i had been sleeping early every nite. Sometimes when i was lying down to watch the 9pm show, i could oso fall asleep. Being pregnant really made me so sleepy, i could sleep the whole day haha...

The initial stage of pregnancy went on smoothly. I only felt tired easily but did not feel nauseated. I could oso eat or smell anything. But 2 wks ago, i started to feel nauseated. I would sometimes vomit out thick bubbles & my mouth would feel bitter after tat. The feeling was so terrible. Certain smell & food oso made me feel nauseated.

But having a baby inside me is a wonderful thing. Although had to endure many mths of tiredness & vomiting but itz definitely worth it once u c ur cute little baby out into this world.

Been to my 2nd gynae appt last Sat. Dr Phyllis gave me a scan. On the monitor, darling & i could c a little white thing inside my pregnancy sag. Itz our baby! It had grown. We could c the white thing moving coz the baby's heart was beating. We could oso hear our baby's heartbeat thru the speaker, itz like a horse galloping hehe... Dr Phyllis said i was abt 7 wks & my due date is ard Dec. My next appt is in 3 wks' time.

Went to Kiddy Palace last wk & bought a white long sleeve shirt & matching long pants for baby. Itz so cute. Baby could wear it during sleeping time or when itz cold.

Last Sunday was Mother's Day. Treated my mum to Sakura Buffet at Toa Payoh last Fri after work & my mother-in-law to chicken rice cum steamboat at Woodlands on Sunday.

Yawn! Feeling sleepy liao. Going to take a rest now. I tink baby is oso feeling sleepy hehe...
