[[KTV addict]]

17 May 2009... Went for KTV session wif darling. Little Zenden was left at my mother-in-law's place while we went for a little romantic time 2gether. ;)

We actually reserved a room in Party World Civic Centre but in the end juz coz we went late a little, they gave our room to others without even informing us. 15 mins into our reserved time, a staff called me to confirm if we were going & I told him we were on the way yet our room was still being taken by others. Made a wasted trip there, so angry! The staff told us to wait for 2 more hrs or we could go to another of their branch. 4get it! We will never patronise Party World in future, disappointed wif their service.

I really wanted to sing that day so darling called K Box to check if there's any empty rm. To my happiness, there was! We drove to K Box in AMK & their services were so much better than Party World.

Signed up for the K Box membership card & vouchers came along wif it.

1st time at K Box.

The guy who always makes my wish come true. I told him I wanna sing KTV & he fulfilled my wish. :)

Our tidbits & 1st round of complimentary drinks. Darling's mango yoghurt drink & mine's watermelon juice.

Sing sing sing... female & male songs, solos & duets.

Initially he told me he dunno how to sing & would only watch me sing. But in the end, he sang as well. Pretend pretend only... lol...

Our 2nd rounds of drinks. We shared the Rainbow Series drinks, yellow mango & orange apricot. Each person would get 2 complimentary drinks.

Singing is really so relaxing & time seems to pass by so fast.

Darling was making himself at hm by removing his slippers & lying on the L-shape sofa. Super relaxed! Haha...

KTV session wif ur loved 1 is a joy!

Regardless of how nice or not nice I sing, he's always my number 1 faithful audience. :P

Love my singing companion... a lot!

I love singing!

We sang frm 330pm to 8pm. Enjoyed ourselves so much!

Singing KTV can b addictive, looking 4ward to the next singing session.

Darling said will bring me to K Box again next mth if we r free. =)

Fetched Zenden home & saw that my mum had bought 3 sets of clothes for him. His 17th mth gifts.

Backdated to 14 Mar 2009...

Little Zenden was preparing to go to the playground while his daddy was at work.

"Mummy, I have reached the destination. Can I come down from my tricycle?"

He was still learning how to walk at that time & the playground became his practising area.

I let go & he was trying to balance himself.

He looked so cute when he walked wif his 2 hands so high up.

He could walk ard 7-8 steps at that time b4 he lost balance & fell to the ground. He ended up crawling to anything that could support him up.

Really so fast, he was still learning how to walk at that time but now he's steady in walking. :)

In the evening, little 1's all changed & waiting for us to get ready to bring him out. In the meantime, gave him a bk & he's so engrossed in it.

The next day 15 Mar 2009... Went to the Takashimaya Baby Fair. I love it! Will always go there whenever they have it.

Darling went to top up the cashcard & while waiting for him, I whipped out my camera again...

The crowd at the baby fair though itz a rainy day.

After shopping was our late lunch at a HK cafe. I had baked rice & yuan yang while darling had dessert. I seemed to eat more than him coz he claimed he was still full haha...

B4 going hm, we went to the Taka Cold Storage to buy Zenden's vegetables. Look at him doing "facial" wif 2 tomatoes lol... He put them on his cheeks & told us "cold cold".

The things we bought at the baby fair. 2 sets of pyjamas, a set of Thomas & Friends eating & drinking set, baby wipes & 2 sets of milk bottle teats.

B4 I end this post, something happy to share abt. We will b getting the key to our new hse soon, which is next mth! Had been waiting for itz completion since 2006.

Darling & I had discussed abt the designs & layouts. We had oso more or less told uncle Vincent abt our concept. Can't wait to c how our new hm will b after renovation. *Excited* Guess will b pretty bz once we get the key. Will have to source for many stuffs for our new hse.

My mother-in-law, darling's sis & bro will b staying wif us in our new hse. Went to Kranji yesterday wif my mother-in-law & Jeslyn to look at furnitures. Had reserved 4 beds for my mother-in-law, Jeslyn, Desmond & Zenden. The beds r sponsored by Jeslyn hehe... Though expensive but itz unique & durable, so really worth it!

[[17 mths old Zenden & Batam trip (Part 2)]]

2day is 17 May 2009. Baby Zenden is exactly 17 mths old!

Happy 17th mth to my little 1! ;)

Time flies! Whenever I look back at Zenden's newborn pics, I was amazed by his transformation from a fragile little baby who communicates his needs through crying to now... a strong little toddler who is able to walk & talk.

But 1 thing has never change. He's still my cute & charming baby. =)

After shower.

He's sitting on his fav pillow which he names as "ah pill". Short form for pillow I guess hehe...

Shall note down Zenden's flashcard achievement which he succeeded a few mths ago. I kept 4getting to blog abt it, now finally remembered. :)

I have a set of alphabet flashcards. Each card has a pic & a letter representing it. I use the cards as a teaching aid for Zenden. I teach him everyday & soon, it produces some results.

When I show him a particular card & ask him what is the pic representing the letter, he can tell me on his own!

(The words in blue r Zenden's ans, those in yellow means he cannot say it yet)

B for? Bell (ring ring ring wif hand movement like shaking a bell)

C for? Cake (clap his hands & try to sing the bdae song)

D for? Drum (pom pom pom like the sounds of beating a drum)

It really makes my day to hear him say out the words in his little babyish voice. =)

~ Batam trip (Part 2) ~

Part 1 can b found in my earlier post.

1 May 2009... 2nd day of our holiday. Itz Labour Day & we were spending it in Batam. :)

Morning view. Took it rite after I woke up.

My 2 darlings were still sleeping like a log. Love to c them sleeping side by side.

Darling woke up! Our morning-still-tired looks.

After we got ready, woke Zenden up for milk.

Once he's done, set off for buffet breakfast downstairs. Zenden had a little bit of plain porridge, eggs, cereal & fruits.

After breakfast...

Kailun & Beckham went to play pool. Little Zenden decided to b their audience. Liyana was carrying him.

"I wanna play pool but I m not tall enough, luckily I have Xueyun jie jie & uncle Beckham to help me." Hehe...

After I finished showering, darling told me Zenden was asleep. He muz b very tired after the swim, look at the way he slept hehe...

We got ourselves ready as we were going to the Batam Mega Mall. Woke Zenden up to feed him some food b4 we set off.

The big mirror came handy when we wanna take couple shots. :)

Took the bus to the shopping centre & it seemed like a long journey.

Finally reached & we could shop!

Shopped for many hrs b4 the bus drove us back to the hotel. Bought fast food back to eat.

In the evening, went downstairs for a walk.

There's a shop selling souvenirs & while waiting for the adults to buy things, little 1 sat on the rides for a while.

We dined at the cafe. The set we all ate was nice. Fried rice wif egg, cracker, ikan bilis, peanuts, fried chicken, satay & veg.

Zenden sat in his stroller for a while & wanna get up. Thus we took turns to carry him & eat. There's a lady singing live on stage at the lounge outside the cafe so we brought Zenden to c & he enjoyed listening to the performance.

At the end of the day, he's knocked out.

We had a late supper of cup noodles after he slept. Hehe...

2 May 2009... Our 3rd & last day of holiday.

As usual, had our buffet breakfast downstairs at the cafe.

There was a teletubby doing his rounds & guests were taking pics wif it. Zenden was surprised to c it but he got scared when the furry thing carried him. Hehe...
