[[Zenden is now 3!]]

A very belated post due to the many activities during the festive season. Hence didn't have the time to blog.

17 Dec 2010... Zenden is finally 3 yrs old on this day!

He had a great & fun birthday.

2 cake-cutting sessions plus an outing r enough to keep the little birthday boy happy. Though itz not a big & grand celebration but itz filled wif lots of warmth & love. Photos will b uploaded soon via Facebook.

He is now a 3 yrs old "big" boy. Time flies! 3 yrs have passed! I m glad I m there wif him during all these yrs to watch his every milestone & development. Itz really a miracle how a little newborn can grow day by day, learning new things to surprise u. All the tiredness r all worth it at the end of the day! Resigning to become a full-time mummy has never been a regret when I can witness all his "1st". 1st smile.. 1st food.. 1st word.. 1st step.. I have seen it all & they will always b in my memories.

Zenden is now a big brother to a younger brother. Initially he was not used to having another sibling & it resulted in his change of behaviour & temperament. I believed itz normal for a child to b like that when suddenly total attention on him has to b divided. Thus has to b very careful when handling such situations.

We r glad he has now accepted his little brother. In fact can c that Zenden loves Rayden very much, from even the smallest action he does. He will even protect his little brother! Sometimes Rayden will wake up from his sleep & cries. Zenden will run quickly to him to pacify him & it really works. When he c Zenden, he will smile at him. B4 bedtime every nite, he will wan to play & talk to Rayden for a while. He will wait for him to come to his room. Hopefully when they grow up, the bond between the both of them will b strong.

Looking back at the photos can really c how much Zenden has grown. Baby Rayden looks so alike to his brother when we compare both of their baby photos.

Will still b doing the monthly blog entry for the 2 brothers for as long as I can. Itz meaningful to b able to pen down all the thoughts abt my kids & family life. :]

[[Baby Rayden is 5 mths old! :)]]

3 Dec 2010... Baby Rayden turns 5 months old today!

Happy 5th month to my little precious!

Love u more than anything else! Our family is now complete wif u & Zenden... :)

A few favourite photos of the little one...

A few notes of little Rayden...

- On combined feeding. Intake of formula milk has increased.

- Loves to b breastfed. He seems to know mummy's breastmilk is the best for him. Breastfeeding is able to calm him down when he cries as well as soothe him to sleep.

- Starting on semi-solids. So far he has tried plain rice cereal, brown rice cereal, avocado & pumpkin. Taking well to the new tastes.

- Weight & height have increased. Can c the difference in him now as compared to newborn stage. Chubbier now.

- When people he is familiar wif calls his name or tries to make him smile, he will respond & smiles back happily showing his 2 dimples. Likes people to talk to him.

- Loves it when his brother Zenden sing to him. He will respond wif his baby language. Likes to observe Zenden when he is playing wif toys.

- Interested in books.

- Able to flip, putting his head up.

- Will tend to cry in his carseat when the car stops. Sometimes will cry too when his stroller comes to a stop. Same scenario as Zenden when he was a baby. Wonder y?

- Camera sensitive. Likes to take photos.

- Curious wif the surroundings when we bring him out as he will b looking all around.

- Loves bathing.

- Has an idol... is none other than his daddy! He will smile so happily whenever he sees his daddy back from work. Loves it when his daddy carries or play wif him.

- Loves cuddles, hugs & kisses!

Had a hotel stay yesterday (2 days 1 nite), to in advance celebrate our wedding anniversary as well as a short family getaway to relax. We enjoyed it so much, the kids too! Zenden wants more of such outings in future, all of us too! Initially was afraid that little Rayden is still young to easily adapt to a different environment & thus cannot get to sleep at nite. But he surprised us wif his adaptability. Really glad & relieved that little Rayden is able to sleep without fuss, juz like his Zenden gor gor. Thus the stay was a pleasant & fun one! Took plenty of photos which will b uploaded via Facebook soon. :)
